Poland Appoints Tax Chief Rzeczkowska as Finance Minister

Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the ruling coalition, which is facing general elections next year.The new minister will have to fix the tax revamp the government introduced earlier this year and then partly abandoned following a public outcry over its complexities and lack of transparency.
